This restoration project blends a once dilapidated, slate-roofed, brick Edwardian with a contemporary extension.

Although the project was sometimes challenging, the end result is a stylish, seamless home designed to channel northern light into the south-facing rear of the property. This was achieved via a vaulted roof above the dining and kitchen area, which is not visible from the street, but achieves the desired result. A light brown, stone-filled polished concrete floor in the living room helps to open the space further, to provide a relaxed living environment.
